About this item

This VESA extension plate holder is used for mounting your mini PC or CPU on the back of your computer monitor. The mounted extender adapter uses the VESA standard size: 75 * 75mm and 100 * 100mm. Also known as the FDMI MIS-D interface. NOTE: this product contains extension plate only. DO NOT include the mount bracket. Requires the mounting bracket that came with your devices or other bracket you bought.
Use high quality pure aluminum material. Make the adapter plate more lightweight. Reduces weight by 60% compared to iron. Provides terrific conditions to hold your NUC or other mini PC while creating a lighter option. Reduce weight on the computer. The size of the conversion kit extender plate is 292*122*2mm (thickness: 2mm), and the weight is 0.145KG. Please make sure your monitor arm/ stand can bear the total weight of the whole setting(NUC/mini PC+VESA mount + VESA extension plate).
The adapter plate used with the VESA bracket to mount the mini PC or NUC in place frees up desktop space and improves cable management. It makes the desktop look both neat and clean, with no more mess. Dual-plate twist and non-flat design reserve more space for installing a VESA mounting bracket.
Easy installation - just use the screwdriver, some Phillips screws and other accessories to install it in a few minutes. You can install side by side vertically or horizontally. If you do not know how to install it, please feel free to contact us.
Some Intel NUC can be mounted on the Fasgear VESA extension adapter directly without bracket. The conversion kit holder ranges from 70mm to 110mm. The standard size 85mm and 94mm are included. You can measure the NUC size before purchasing. NOTE: NUC PC Screws are not included in our product, please use the original screws to fix it. You can also contact us if you have any questions.

I ordered this Fasgear mounting bracket extension plate to mount my relatively old Intel NUC on one of my monitors. Installation was a little fiddly, but only because I did not want to mess around trying to remove the gas riser which is awkwardly placed and difficult to get to, but I did eventually manage it after loosening some of the screws so the monitor was horizontal.

I was unable to use any of the provided screws as they were all too big for my NUC, which only has two small screw holes for mounting, but I did manage to find a few in the shed that had the right thread and were just about long enough. I will have to revisit this in the future when I find some longer screws so that I can use one of the wider washers so I get more air flow at the bottom of the NUC as a small part of the vent is now blocked by the extension plate.

While I would have liked a better selection of screws, and may be some slightly wider washers, I am still very happy with this bracket as it means there is one less item taking up space on my desk, even if it is just a small amount of space.

This metal bracket extender fit into the VESA mounting on the back of the monitor and the extender with the bend help keep the mini pc from being flush against the back of the monitor to allow air flow from the bottom of the mini pc. That's a good design IMO. The plate is thin so it doesn't take up much space but good enough to hold the mini pc. Having the mini pc in the back of the monitor help free up desk space and avoid cluttering. Check if you need to get a bracket to hold your mini pc or not as this doesn't come with it.

Dieser Adapter ist Pflicht, wenn man die PC Vesa Halterung https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DNQJVCDB nutzt!

Allerdings muss unbedingt darauf geachtet werden, ob der Monitorhalter dem zusätzlichen Gewicht gewachsen ist! Gerade beim Einsatz von Gasdruckhaltern kann es sein, dass der Monitor plötzlich schief hängt.

Positiv ist auf jeden Fall, dass umfangreiche Zubehör und Montagematerial zu erwähnen.

Meine Meinung: Unbedingt testen, wenn man seinen Mac Mini, Mini-PC oder NUC vom Schreibtisch verbannen möchte! Allerdings muss man sich darauf einstellen, dass man eine Rücksendung veranlassen muss, wenn der Monitorhalter mit dem Gewicht nicht klarkommt.
