I decided log burners and kittens probably aren’t a good mix and so I was looking for a nice looking fire guard for our log burner which was fitted very recently.
I wanted something that would do the job of preventing my cats trying to explore around my log burner whilst it was hot, and I wanted to get something for a decent price, I liked the look of this one as it looks quite modern and it was very affordable. Sadly the delivery was delayed by almost a week which was a shame as it was supposed to be next day delivery, so I wasn’t able to enjoy my log burner as soon as I’d hoped.
The item had totally made up for the wait though. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews that it would be flimsy or that it would arrive damaged. But I can safely say I am over the moon with it, it does exactly what I wanted it to. The size is perfect, the fire guard is relatively heavy so it won’t get knocked over by my cats, it’s very sturdy, the mesh is good strong mesh and the black finish is flawless. I’d say it makes my fireplace look a million times more expensive now! (The surrounding areas of my log burner aren’t quite finished yet so it also hides the ugly edges)
Genuinely so happy with this for the price I paid, I can’t believe anyone would have a bad experience with this item?!
