The Firehouse Technology Arc V is the industry leading anti-collision strobe light for drones. It is widely used by drone professionals around the world. The 1000 Lumen output produces a very bright light that is visible at over 3 miles at night. The 240 mAh rechargeable battery provides four and a half hours of run time in strobe mode. The weight is just 14g. Features 1000 Lumen 5 x powerful Cree XPE focused LEDs 4 modes ( strobe, flash, fixed, strobe/flash ) easy to use single button interface charge indicator light ( red, green ) micro USB charge cable, plugs in to USB port. 240 mAh rechargeable battery angled lens for better side visibility weight 14g battery has internal overcharge and discharge protection tested to be compliant with FAA 107.29 night time flight regs. 4.5 hours runtime in strobe mode designed by public safety professionals in the USA satisfied customers include CBS, NBC, and many fire and police UAS units Directions For Use Unit will arrive with little or no charge. Charge with USB cord included. Charge will take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Red light on the unit indicates it is charging. Green light indicates it is fully charged. You cannot overcharge the battery as it has built in overcharge protection. Like any Lithium Polymer battery do not leave unattended. The unit is operated by a single button on the end. Press and hold for 3 seconds and release to turn on or off. Once the unit is on, tap the button to change modes (strobe, flash, fixed, strobe/flash ). Ensure the unit is securely attached before each flight. Very bright but on/off button sticks and you have to fiddle to pop it out again. Missed the return date otherwise I would return it. Expensive for what it is but is def bright. Velcro supplied did not stick well even after leaving on cleaned drone for 24hrs after twisting off Velcro for the first time. Don’t trust it to stay on drone with what is supplied and looking for a 3D printed holder for it. Would/may take out props if it came off.

A very bright product sadly let down by a poor quality switch - how can that be?
This product is very highly rated by UAV flyers wherever it’s available, it’s not cheap either so how come your loyal customers paying a premium price are palmed off with a second rate component when only the best should be used?
Hopefully future products will include a remote control, I for one am not keen on being blinded by my safety strobe as I’m about to take to the skies.
I look forward to seeing future products from Firehouse especially if they include remote control of the strobe as does my DJI Enterprise Dual.
