This is a nice ruler, good quality plastic with sharp print on the numbers and markers. The hinges are nice and tight and feel like they will last.
My only nigel is that it doesn't quite sit together when folded up? This is because the central brass hinge is slighlty raised and so stops a flush fit. Only a small detail I know but cheaper ones I've had have not had this problem - although they have had far worse issues !

It's about as sturdy as a hinged, plastic ruler can be, I don't see it breaking so long as use it appropriately. I will try to avoid using the two outer hinges as the central circular one seems stronger. Arrived as expected, no complaints.
