I went for a desk this size as I don't have much space and since my job converted to working from home I needed a desk. I didn't have the space to have a fixed desk so something like this was the next best option. It's large enough for a laptop, tablet, A5 paper notebook, water bottle and a coffee cup and other miscellaneous things I need throughout the day. I can setup the desk in a matter of seconds which means my lounge can convert to an office and back again quite quickly. Height wise this was perfect for me, I'm 170cm tall. Once folded it goes neatly in the corner of my lounge against a wall. For the sake of my carpet I got a non slip coaster for my coffee cup so I don't accidentally knock it off
