This is very similar to a previously tried couple of products, one of which quite frankly was rubbish – and twice the price, the main issue being that the vibration sensing didn’t work. The other one worked fine, and this one does as well! This feels quite heavy-duty, seems well-made, and looks quite smart.
The instructions are in (no surprise there) very small print, and not that brilliant (in fact they’re poor) either – not the end of the world, but it isn’t that difficult to work out. However, the whole thing is extremely confusing. There is the perfume bottle included, but it was EMPTY! The absorbing wick type of component was, though, already infused with fragrance, but the instructions relating to that made no sense. So, do you add fragrance? What type? Basically, what do you do overall. The vibration activated mode means constant operation for 10 minutes upon activation. That’s much too long really, which makes this not very appealing for how I wish to use. It doesn’t need to be more than say a minute. The fragrance is certainly pleasant enough, but pretty weak, and dissipates quite quickly. However, I’m not at all interested in the ridiculous light sequencing nonsense. Thankfully, that’s totally independent of the freshener element, so can be switched off.
Overall, seems quite well-made and smart looking, but as an actual air freshener, it isn’t great due to the weak fragrance, confusing instructions, and strange mode settings. So, okay, not brilliant, and there are much better car air fresheners out there.
