Confusingly photograph with the description indicates there should be an extra bit, happy to report the powered micro USB input is now incorporated into the device and one less thing to loose. This manages both USB and USBc rather than needing to have two devices and spending much more in the process.
Being able to get the readings once your device has charged (how long did it take, how much wattage) is neat by post powering up the device via micro USB - as long as your happy to take a photograph to read the info. Some may grumble it should be via USBc input - but then again you may pay twice the cost.
Current volts and ampage are thankfully big enough to read, even if current wattage and time are a little too challenging for the optically challenged like myself even with glasses.
Very useful if you have problems with either a device or cable not working as it should - or where you have a cable that's only giving 10w rather than a full 20w of charge for your device.
Granted you need to treat these devices with a bit of kid gloves, not sure how it would last in a tool kit or loose in a bag, but seems sturdy enough and good value for money in comparison to others
