Bought these to repair letter box broken by amazon delivery driver on a previous occasion after ramming a parcel through itExpensive for two little pieces of plastic
The outer flap of my letter box was very quickly fixed with one of this pair of hinge pins.. one to spare in case another fails. A quick twist and turn was all it needed. Very pleased.
For what this is it's very expensive, however it eliminates the added expense and waste of buying a new letterbox. They arrived quickly. There were no instructions and after contacting the seller it turns out you have to twist the pins as you insert them to create the resistance that hold the letterbox flap closed. This is harder to do than it sounds as they are very small and resist being twisted, however it is doable. Just about worth it in my opinion.
