The bin part is very good but the ,I'd does not fit on! In fact it falls off. The lid has to be balanced on the top as the bits that hold the handles are too high. Otherwise it's okay.

Beware if you are looking for a bucket with a lid

This bucket was bought for hot ashes. The lid that came with it does not fit the bucket properly and falls off as soon as the bucket is moved. The lid snags on the handle brackets and so does not sit down far enough onto the bucket, just perching on top and slipping off at the slightest touch - very annoying. I suspect that this is a general design problem with this make of buckets, not just my particular one. I managed to modify my lid by using a hacksaw to make cut-outs in the lip of the lid to slide over the handle mounting brackets. Even with this done the lid is still rather loose. Best to avoid this model if you want a lid that sits firmly on the bucket

This item is ok! But only ok! It does the job as a bucket but the lid is not a tight fit and if the bucket contents are not evenly placed, when you pick it up it tips and the lid falls off.. not really ideal when carrying ash from a fire. Wouldn’t recommend to be honest. There are much better ones out there.
