Excellent. I bought this to upgrade from the composite cable I was using with my N64 that looked all washed out. I'd put that down to using an LCD TV vs a CRT. I thought maybe s-video would improve it. The change was remarkable, much sharper, far more vibrant colours. So good in fact, I decided to try the composite side to check whether my old cable had just not been up to much and turns out I was right, even the composite site of this is pretty good so I'd recommend this cable even if you don't need s-video. That said, the s-video side is the best picture of the two. Really good cable, they must have a new batch since the poor reviews.

i gave three star as 'it's okay' because it does it's working, it does its job and its cheap, but i'm not really convinced that s-video is pal version, that's because i can notice that colors changes a lot when using the s-video plug and become very desatureted almost black and white with a lil splash of color, and everything seems more natural when i plug using the yellow video cable. above this also poor quality cable very thin. But again it works somehow so if you are looking for a cheap composite cable that one is ok

I have never seen the difference between Composite and S-video but I bought this cable anyway because it was the best my CRT TV had and theres a Massive Night and day difference. I purchased it for my Pal Nintendo 64 and its just what I needed, its Perfect! However I also have a modified Japanese N64 and when I use it in that I get a black and white picture so only buy it if it is for a Pal N64 it wont work on an NTSC N64 but it says PAL in the description the description is spot on. I did buy it for my PAL N64 and for that the Picture is amazing and its just what I wanted it for. A+++++++

Zuerst habe ich das Composite-Signal mit dem original Kabel von Nintendo verglichen - kein für meine Augen erkennbarer Unterschied. Das ist schon mal gut.
Dann habe ich das S-Video-Kabel angeschlossen und sofort Verbesserungen feststellen können:
Kontrastreiche Kanten flimmern nicht mehr, Farben gehen viel weniger in einander über; kurzum, ein tolles Bild!
Auch die Farben wurden im Vergleich zu Composite nicht schlechter dargestellt, was bei meiner PAL-Konsole wohl bedeutet, dass die versprochenen Komponenten tatsächlich im Kabel verbaut wurden.

Obgleich an der Dicke (oder vielleicht eher "Dünne" xD) der Einzelkabel klar zu erkennen ist, dass es sich nicht um das qualitativ hochwertigste Kabel handelt, ist das Ergebnis für den Preis voll zufriedenstellend!

Parece ser que había comprado uno NTSC sin saber que existían de dos tipos, y que estos cables no son intercambiables: si tu consola es PAL (como son las españolas) entonces necesitas que este cable también lo sea. Así que me lancé a por este que indica que es PAL y plim! Perfecto!!! La resolución es la que es y se ven los pixeles (bajando la nitidez de la tele mejora bastante para mi gusto). Estoy satisfecha, ahora ya sí que se puede jugar perfectamente :) He usado los tres colores, por cierto, pero el S video debería funcionar igual o mejor. ¡Muchas gracias!

De ontvangen kabel had zowel een composiet als S-Video aansluiting, dus ik was er al bang voor dat het sync signaal op composiet afgesteld zou zijn, en dat blijkt ook zo te zijn. Bij gebruik als S-Video resulteert dat in enorm golvend en onrustig beeld. Waardeloos dus.
