The virtual games also means that I can practice in the garden or in doors. Which is useful when not able to get to the course or driving range.

It does the basics well - it acquires the signal quickly, detects the tee box accurately and of course can tell you the distances. The launch monitor seems fairly reasonable as well all things considered.

But it's almost useless for keeping scores. For starters the device doesn't store previous rounds (or at least you don't get access to them) so once you've completed a round the score card is effectively lost from the device. You can sync the device (using the separate phone app) but that appears to be a manual process and in any case sometimes goes wrong.

So you're paying over £400 pretty much /just/ for the GPS functionality. Not impressive.
