To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on ÍøÆغÚÁÏ. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
My mum and dad took me to see the first film in 1984 wow blown away I am now 52 and love it this new one is brilliant it’s a follow on from the last few more cast members and the good old ones bill Murray my favourite you have to have grown up in the 1980s the best must see
If you watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife and loved the nostalgia, you need to watch this! The action is set back in New York this time around and the movie revisits all the locations from the original, with a few familiar - if now older - faces which made me fanboy all over again!
I read lots of negative reviews before I watched Frozen Empire for myself, and I have to say I don't know what those people were watching because this is a brilliant follow on! The story is a little slower and takes time building up, but I liked that, the new additions to the cast were great, the special effects were high quality and the actual story was good. And if nothing else, its worth watching for the memories it will bring back.
I think a lot of the criticism simple came from the current fad of hating any popcorn movie from a big Hollywood studio, and I'd suggest anyone who isn't part of that sheep-like pile on culture, to watch and judge Frozen Empire for yourself because if you loved the previous instalments, you'll not be disappointed here either.
Plenty of action and generational cross-over nostalgic references. It could never be as good as the 1984 original, but 40 years later it isn't ground-breaking because it's been done so many times and there isn't much new to add. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it.
Usually sequels especially years later dont work. This like,Ghostbusters Afterlife is even better.Fantastic long film.Loved every minute of it.I was around for the first two Ghostbusters movies and this follows on again great from those with the new crew and old crew mixing excellently.Loved a few nods and winks to earlier movies.Dan Akroyd mustve and Ernie hudson not to mention Annie "hello,Ghostbusters,What do you want?"Potts just havnt aged in 40 years.Im watching this again tonight.Be prepaired to enjoy. No disappointments here.GREAT MOVIE.Please, let there be another one.
