APPLICATION PREPARE For best results, apply the tape to a clean surface at room temperature. CUT Keep liner on tape and cut tape to desired size. Tape size should be larger than the repair area. POSITION Remove the release liner and place tape over the repair area. Tape cannot be repositioned once applied. PRESS Rub firmly across entire surface of tape to secure it to the repair area. *May not adhere to silicone or water-repellent materials.
NOT FOR USE Not for use on seams, applications under pressure, or automotive applications relating to the engine.
STORAGE Store tape on the top and bottom disc at room temperature. Edges of tape may be sticky.

This was surprisingly perfect.
I was waiting for the tilers to come and fix my bathroom tiles, they have completely cracked which caused water to seep through and cause a leak in my hallway downstairs. I stuck this on over the cracks and boom, no more leak! Didn't look super pretty but as long as I could shower i didn't care!

A neighbour recommended this to repair our garden waste wheelie bin, which had split. His had also split & he'd used Gorilla tape to repair it. The instructions are fair as they tell you that it can't be repositioned once you've started to apply it, which can be a bit tricky as you don't always get the line right first time. However, it's very useful as it's that bit wider than normal duct tape. It's also difficult to cut because it's so sticky. Our scissors got more & more adhesive on them as we went along so each length was more difficult to cut. Afterwards, I noticed that the diagram seemed to indicate a Stanley knife should have been used. That might have been easier. We then had to clean the scissors to make them useable again. I found WD40 worked well for this if anyone else has the same problem. We haven't had it on for long enough to know about durability, but our neighbour's bin seems to be OK & he did his some weeks before we did ours.

Old Landrover with leaky sunroof . previous owner botched repair with silicone. I needed better temp repair 'til I save up for all the kit required ! Cleaned up surfaces of roof and glass with soapy water and dried off well . Temperatures were moderate , warm then cool. Located Scotland . Cut tape with scissors roughly to size for back then sides then front of job. Very very easy to handle due to backing film on tape , so you can practice line up and trim or shape rounded corners before peeling off backing (getting backing off was hardest part !) Once you are happy with shape/ position etc. peel back a couple of inches of backing and go for stick down at one end . A little tension on the whole length can then be achieved and the backing slowly pulled from under the repair tape.
WARNING this tape is extremely sticky and CANNOT be repositioned or adjusted after contact . I wasn't too fussy about any little air bubbles and only used my hands and fingers to apply . when pressed along all edges , you could really see the super adhesive backing oozing out from the edge of the waterproof rubberised cover .
I really think this was a great product and may stay on alot longer than anticipated . It has not rained yet so need to see as I didn't have time to water test today . Only other issue may prove to be how it reacts to wind effect of driving . ( its a landrover , not a fast car ) . All in all , if you need something like this type of application , I would highly recommend . Great price too .

Didn’t realise that the tape could be stretched into size and position which was really effective and covering up the tear in the felt and preventing further leaks. I'm so impressed with this tape. It's not often things perform as well as they claim. The mission was a very challenging one. To find tape to cover holes in a pool cover. So exposed to chlorinated water one side, rain and the elements on the outside. This is coping amazingly well, months later. No sign of edges lifting whatsoever.
I also thought it could be really difficult to cut and apply. Fortunately though, it comes with backing. So it was a matter of marking the circles on the backing tape, pressing on a pastry cutter worked well! Cutting out the circles was not too hard with decent scissors (did leave a sticky residue on them a bit). Peeling off the backing and applying, smoothing out from centre to edges to remove any airbubbles. A circle each side of the hole and it's stayed put brilliantly. In spite of heatwave, rain, birds etc.
Really impressive performance from this super strong tape. Expensive for the amount of tape you get, I used up the whole roll, but you get what you pay for in quality. That makes it well worth it in the long term.
