We went to see The Sweet before Christmas, what a fantastic show would highly recommend seeing them, so I wanted to collect some CDs by them, this is great and makes the washing up and cleaning go quicker when you play it loud!
It's a compilation of Sweets greatest. You wouldn't buy it if you didn't know something about Sweet in the first place so I rate it as excellent as they were part of my youth and also lived near me. This is a clean good quality product with well recorded music. Sweet, the most underrated, musically talented misrepresented band there ever was in my opinion. Listen to Queen. You can hear how they plagiarised Sweet's music and how similar Brian May sounds to Andy Scott, who got there first! Each one of the band were proper musicians who could hold their own individually. Each highly talented and skilled. Few can hold a candle to Mick Tucker for drumming and percussion expertise. For those who are dipping a toe into Sweets music please don't take it that they were all "bubblegum glam rock", please listen to some of their other albums as well. You mayl be pleasantly surprised.
