Holds up to 760 CDs or 318 DVDs / Blu-rays / computer games or 150 videos or a combination of these - also great as a slimline bookcase. 18mm thick shelves. Distance between shelves if all ten are used and evenly spaced = 13.5cm. Please note if used to store DVDs only six shelves will be used at 23cm apart to reach capacity of 318 - it is possible to store up to 378 DVDs with some stored horizontally on additional shelves. Top and base plinth measure 88cm wide - main shelf section 84.5cm - actual shelves 80.5cm wide. Includes wall safety strap. Now that I have it completed, I love it. It is sturdily built but it was not easy getting the back boards to stay in whilst you put on the top. You must have the grooves matching on the sides and middle shelf or the back boards will not fit. I had my wife to help at first but we couldn't get the back boards to stay in. My wife had to go out so I turned it on its side and it was much easier getting the boards in. Once the top is on it gets far easier from then on. It's the first time I've used camlock screws but they are easy and do a great job. I turned it upside down and screwing the bottom on was easy. it's solid and looks really good. I'm chuffed with my achievement.
The great thing about this unit compared to others I've had is that all the parts fit accurately so you won't end up with a CD shelving unit version of Johnny Cash's "One piece at a time" LOL

Good and sturdy, well made and fairly easy to put together on your own - apart from the back panels (very difficult to stop them slipping out everytime you do something else!). However, it only fits 212 DVDs. I bought it to put some of my huge collection of DVDs but there is only the option of mixing DVDs, Blurays and CDs because of the fixed central shelf. So be aware of this. It does not fit as many DVDs as it claims. Disappointed.

Great product. Fairly easy to assemble. Although I could have done with a second pair of hands a couple of times I did complete it on my own.
My only minor gripe was that the center shelf is fixed and provides a lot of structural strength. This means that used as a book shelf you can't get the shelves spaced right. This is a minor issue but it did occur to me that anyone with basic DIY skills could drill new screw holes and move the center fixed shelf up or down a few inches to make the shelf spacing's fit their needs. I'd buy again.

Almost impossible to put together! Instructions were followed and should have been strait forward. Back panels are ridiculous in design as they are not solid enough to keep in place while putting top & bottom on the unit. Cheap chipboard split on fixed shelf as more than one hole on one side made it crumble. Had to leave it as it was so frustrating! So disappointed!!
