This type of eraser is soft and pliable,and can be molded into different shapes. It is used for removing graphite or charcoal from a drawing,and can also be used to create highlights by lifting off small amounts of the medium.
With practice you’ll gain greater control over your blending tools and techniques. Go slowly at first and consider practicing on scrap paper before committing to a finished drawing. You may also mix all of these blending techniques to find what works best for you.
