Comes with limited instruction I used my common sense and 3D awareness; thankfully if you need further instructions you will find visual installation videos on YouTube. The easel is light not too heavy to move around the home or garden. I am use to more robust heavy artist easels but this is good portable alternative for small to medium work. My tip is to up end the box and extend the tripod legs first.
