    As an avid Hans Zimmer fan I can’t say I really enjoyed every track. The battle tune from Gladiator is solo piano and I didn’t like it at all. Leona Lewis vocals on the now we are free track from the same film and she is ok. Hans does not appear to have anything to with this recording conducted by Gavin Greenaway other than being composer of all the music.
    I am returning my copy due to excessive crackling on both sides of disc 1. I am unsure whether I will re order the same record.
    Update
    Decided to have this record replaced.The opening 20 seconds or so of each of the first tracks on sides 1 and 2 are noisy and crackly. All the other tracks are OK with the exception of a few minor crackles. There appears to be a general pressing error. Have heard a lot worse . Decided to keep the replacement and live with the bit of noise. Having played all tracks again my opinions of the music have improved but I still do not like the piano version of the Gladiator battle scene.
