Good product; Curved waterfall design better than square

Bought to replace a Cook&Lewis waterfall tap from B&Q, which was a square style. With no prior experience of using a waterfall tap on a daily basis, turned out square ones are terrible as with a low flow it the water goes backwards, under the spout, staining the underside with limescale, and falling on the top of the sink, rather than into the basin. This is particularly problematic if your C&L sink has no bloody catchment area, so the water just rolls off onto the floor when someone forgets to shut the tap completely off...

So with the slight curve downwards, underside backflow is largely prevented, although it does mean the waterfall effect itself loses a little of the lovely "sheet" like behaviour. Haven't seen an issue out of the box with internal seals.

Install was easy, the kit comes with a long plastic tubular spanner, includes pipes (although they are plain, no colour-marking). Only negs, it's a shame the spout isn't even just 10mm longer, it doesn't stick out quite far enough over the basin to be entirely mouth-rinse comfortable, and I kinda miss the red/blue hot/cold markers from the C&L. The plain ones on the Hapilife are a bit faint.

Had to replace our shower room sink tap and having seen one of this type whilst staying in a holiday let I thought I would purchase one as they look good. After searching DIY stores and gasping at the prices I trailed ��غ�� and Ebay to see if we could get a few pounds off as you do!

It was ��غ�� reviews that made us choose the Hapilife and it was fitted along with the VeeBath Basin clicker which was ideal for our small kidney shaped sink.
We were very pleased with the quality of the tap, it came in it's own drawstring bag to protect it which I thought was a nice touch. It is a well made tap & heavy which was a surprise for the price paid. The fittings were of reasonable quality, one of the connectors was awkward when being fitted because it wouldn't screw down properly, but plumber along with hubby fixed it eventually and said it was a bad threading done at the factory.
It is not too tall to sit on a small basin ours is approx. 23inches wide with a projection of 13inches from the wall. We are on moderate water
pressure so there are no powerful jets to soak you, the water flow just hits the plughole when it is turned on.
We love it and would highly recommend you purchase one. The product came very quickly too. A+
