I tried 3 different brands of this type of device (with Levenhuk Zeno and PHOEWON) to evaluate for use with my amateur clock repairs. They were all about the same price of £13 and so I did not set my expectations too high. This was the worst of the 3; being poorly designed.The others were much of a muchness. The biggest flaw on this device was the side mounted led lights; with no adjustment feature, they were only any use for low mag' work at approx 100mm away at which point the 2 beams usefully coincided. Also, the 2 loupe lenses are very poor quality with only a very very small central area free of aberration and this occurred at a focal length of approx' 30mm. So, this thing is pretty useless for high magnification work. Disappointed and returned.

Leichte, individuell einstellbare Stirnbandlupe mit LED-Beleuchtung ( pro Seite müssen je 2 nicht enthaltene AAA Batterien eingefügt werden ), dabei ist die von links & rechts nach Vorne ausgerichtete Beleuchtung zentriert in Blickrichtung, was mir schon mal sehr gefällt. Wenn man erst mal darauf gekommen ist, wie sich daß Stirnband ( ziehen/drücken des rückseitigen Fixerungsknopfs ) einstellen läßt, klappt dies recht unproblematisch. Die Durchsicht durch das größere zentrale Vergrößerungsglas kommt mir sehr entgegen und ich habe vor allem die Möglichkeit mit BEIDEN Augen zentriert durchsehen zu können. Wenn man die kleinen rechten Vergrößerungslupen dazu herunterklappt, muß man logischer Weise das linke Augen schließen. Bei der zweiten dazu heruntergeklappten kleinen Vergrößerungsupe muß man allerdings sehr nahe ans Objekt gehen. Wenn man das große mittlere Vergrößerungsglas individuell auswechseln könnte, wäre es zu 100 % das, was ich mir vorgestellt und gewünscht hätte, doch auch so kommt es mir sehr gut entgegen und ist sehr nahe daran, was ich suchte, vor allem weil man beide Hände frei hat.
