- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2024Just as good as season 1 and completely enthralling, I did a 'House of the Dragon'-athon over the weekend with plenty of ice-creams, with four episodes on Saturday and four on Sunday. Its creativity is brilliant and superbly acted.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 December 2024great tv series to watch and a good story line written by a great author
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 December 2024The second season is a must see and a fitting conclusion and a dramatic beginning to fire n ice!
Picture quality is flawless.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 December 2024I wrote a fairly critical review of series ONE, and sadly find myself writing a similar one for Seris TWO. The following is, of course, only my opinion, but I write in the spirit of helpfulness, and to clarify reasons why I am so critical. The names! Once again I find them confusing - Rhaenyra/Rhaenys/Aego/Aemond.Rhaena. and others. Put that together with me being unable to tell the good guys from the bad...Who are the heroes. Is there actually an Anya Stark/Jon Snow to root for - No there wasn't (for me). The occasional "F" and "C" word. So I got bored, but I persisted, and let's do some positives. The CGI/SFX are magnificent. Worthy of a big scale cinema film. The locations are wonderful. Costumes splendid. The dragons are now much better and so well filmed. The crowd, battle scenes are also spectacular. So...put it all together and I still have to award 4 stars. Just truly cannot manage 5/ (P.S I think in episode 6 the writers (who I blame) must be desperate as they introduce a lesbian scene. Quite out of left field so to speak). PPS and a perhaps minor SPOILER> How cynical can the makers be when they give us the ending on episode 8. This practise alienates so many viewers!! You will see what I mean!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 December 2024I bought both series 1 and 2.
Great quality discs and superb picture quality. I have only watched series I so far,but I enjoyed it, the battles, bloodshed, nudity, it's all here.Great stuff.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 December 2024An excellent series for GOT fans. Beautifully shot with lots of drsgon action. I just wish there wasnt sich a huge gap between each seasons release!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 December 2024No pay off, what a disappointment, they held back the ending, extract as much cash as possible at the expense of the consumer experience. I would not recommend paying more than ten pounds for this double disc incomplete season
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 December 2024fast delivery, good condition
