This is straightforward to use, and having first soaked the two absorbent rods that need to be fitted, it has worked without issue so far. The included notes say to use tap water, and not to use purified water as this can apparently affect its operation. There is an optional ambient light that can be adjusted in brightness, in addition to the main feature. The device has a timer and two emitters, both of which are used at the same time except on the 8 hour setting, where it would likely run out of water otherwise. It has anti-slip pads on the base, and rotates and tilts with a mechanism to hold it in place. It visibly works, however the output is very modest. A humidity sensor placed close by registered a change within a few minutes, but two sensors placed a few meters away in a 14 m2 bedroom only ticked up by 1 percent after an hour. An air purifier with an air quality sensor placed a few meters away did detect a change in the air though, registering as a decrease in quality, though that's misleading in this case.

It's quiet in operation, and does seem to have been somewhat beneficial.

I follow the instructions for one and two clicks, it then works for a bit , makes a clunky noise and cuts out, . I then can't get it to work again till I leave it an hour. Has burnt smell. It's rubbish.
