Awesome trackball for the price! The ball is reasonably heavy (plastic) and though it doesn't spin for a long time, it's got a great feel. The case is made of strong,sturdy plastic too (no creaking) and it can be opened up to access the inside.
The PS2 cable can be attached to PS2 devices (arcade PCB or old PC motherboard), or it can be plugged into a USB adapter to use with any USB device. I bought a double female to USB adapter for this purpose to connect to a Pi Arcade.
The ball lights GREEN. I didn't see anywhere in the description about the colour, so there we have it. It came as a nice surprise since I wasn't even expecting it to glow. The other cables are for connecting by other means to a controller interface I believe. This set of wires can be unplugged in the inside if you don't use them so it doesn't look insightly.
Thought I never did end up getting this working, that's only due to the fact that I locked myself out of the MAME user interface due to a change in keys (down). I'm confident that with the right knowledge this would work. I'm guessing the multi coloured wires aren't needed if you connect vis PS2 / USB?
If you know what you are doing, it's likely you find this a decent trackball!
