PLOT...Cecilia, a woman of devout faith, is warmly welcomed to the picture-perfect Italian countryside where she is offered a new role at an illustrious convent. But it becomes clear to Cecilia that her new home harbours dark and horrifying secrets.I personally loved this movie, a great horror thriller that starts off innocent then turns into a nightmare towards the end, original too as the story has not been done before in this way, the movie becomes total carnage at a certain point in the movie and becomes very graphicly bloody and gory, all very good practical effects too on a decent budget. The cast is all good especially Sydney Sweeny who goes through hell in this movie and the ending must have been fun to film, overall its fresh and entertaining with a farfetched but interesting story and great horror elements. Good music score too to carry the violence.Blu-ray has a decent HD picture. English language, English subtitles.Features just include a commentary. Region B UK. Running time 89mins. 2024.
