I like the size it fits in my kitchen. HOWEVER, it says double oven but the top 'oven' is only a grill not an oven which i was expecting. The numbers on the dials, especially the oven dial are very small and you have to bend down to look under the knob to use them. I would have liked frosted glass on the cover but not available in this size oven. There are 2 sticky circular pads on the underside of the cover and when you open the cover it sticks to the hob plates, lifting them only slightly which is a bit annoying This oven is smart looking and I use it a lot very successfully, there was not much selection in the shops for a 50cm gas oven with a cover (which I wanted) therefore in that regard it meets my requirements. I suppose the issues I have with it which I've mentioned are manageable but features the manufacturers could improve on.

Bought for a rental property to replace an old cooker - pros - overall good finish and materials, 4 burners work very well. Main oven heats up quickly and seems to cook evenly.

No so good - grill does not get as hot as I would like - grilling stuff takes an age.

Odd layout of control knobs and orientation/position of oven gas marks

Ridiculously stupid removable metal heat guard that has to be inserted under the controls to protect them from heat from the grill - this is comedy and obviously a result of complaints that the white control knobs discolour !

Difficult to ignite without electricity connection. Didn’t expect to buy gas cooker then have to get electrician
in. Difficult to light with matches and lighter. Knobs get really hot even when using ridiculous metal guard plate. Cheap and badly designed grill pan with pathetic ‘handle’ that keeps falling off and is too hot to handle without thick oven gloves.
This is vastly inferior to my old Parkinson Cowan, which served me well for 20 years.
I am extremely disappointed.
