I love this cast iron log basket. It looks much more expensive than it really is and it fits in with both contempory fire places as well as the more classical ones. It is strong and sturdy and has some weight to it so it won't slide around. It's been in use now for many years and still looks just as good as when I bought it. I'd recommend this to anyone instead of a more flimsy wicker basket.

Proprio quello che cercavo: un cesto portalegna in ghisa per alzare la legna dal fondo del camino permettendo una migliore ossigenazione della fiamma e prevenendo il rotolamento dei rametti/tronchetti messi sulla brace.
Molto comodo, inoltre, per appoggiare ad esempio una padella per le castagne (caldarroste) o una griglia per bruscare del pane.
Le dimensioni 37 x 25 x 16,5 cm sono perfette per il mio camino e, presumo, per ogni camino di dimensione standard.
La ghisa è di buona qualità, non ci sono crepe (in teoria nessun rischio di rottura una volta scaldato per bene).
Un acquisto azzeccatissimo!

Il prodotto che mi è arrivato, acquistato tramite ��غ�� Warehouse Deals (prodotto ricondizionato/proveniente da reso) ha qualche lieve imperfezione estetica dovuta probabilmente ad alcune bolle formatesi durante la colata della ghisa nello stampo. Queste bolle sono solo sulle punte superiori e non danno alcun problema per l'utilizzo. Il resto della struttura è perfettamente integro e resistente.
