I was aware when buying this that it was one of a number of basically identical cheap sets sold by a number of interchangeable no-name brands, but I only wanted something basic to start with and figured that it would do well enough. Unfortunately, despite only using it for a little over a month and only making a few small projects, one of the needles has snapped off. This is very frustrating, especially happening in the middle of a row, but this is not my only problem with this set.
I didn't expect top quality, so wasn't surprised at the state of the case. The outside is basically fine, exactly the kind of plastic you think it is, but the inside is rather badly finished, the lining is uneven and tatty and in places not even trimmed straight. The various slots and pouches don't feel great, and the small things the pouches are meant to hold constantly fall loose and rattle around inside the case. On the plus side, there are embossed size numbers for each set of needles. This is a little bit helpful, the needles themselves aren't labelled but you can sort of figure it out putting them side by side.
The set itself seems alright at first, with the needles paired by colour and with multiple cords of varying lengths. The colour scratches off the tips quite quickly with use, which is fine, but the threads that hold the needles on the cords don't hold tight regardless of how you tighten them. The gap constantly catches your yarn and traps stitches, and it's incredibly frustrating to try and fish them out and frequently try to keep them screwed on properly. The included pins that are meant for tightening these are frankly almost no help because you can twist them all you like and they will still come apart.
So overall, if you want literally the cheapest thing, you don't mind if it doesn't work well, and you don't mind having to replace it in the near future, sure, this might do.

Wire does not stay secure to the needle. Tried a tiny piece of clingfilm to make a connection but still unscrews even after using the little wire thing to tighten. Wire connection to metal is uneven so wool doesn’t flow across to the needle. Please help as unable to purchase more at the moment.
