This hot shoe adapter features a 1/4"-20 screw and cold shoe base converting camera hot shoe mount to 1/4"-20 tripod screw -- for mounting any other device with 1/4"-20 female thread to the camera hot shoe mount.

The adapter comes with locking nut. The upper part of the locking nut secures the mounted gear and the lower part secures the adapter itself to the camera hot shoe.
