-The leather (at least, it seems like it) is soft, seemingly well stitched and the padding is spot on for comfort
- It does get a bit warm after a while as there’s little breathability, but then again, I keep it quite snug so as to be able to allow my hand to nearly completely relax when by my side
- If you wanted it super snug, you’d struggle to operate the shutter and perhaps other buttons. It’s, in my view, there to assist with carrying, rather than take the whole weight off completely
- The Arca plate is good for sure; lots of grip (compared to my Sirui tripod plate)
- There’s an eyelet on the side of that which can be locked into position as seen in my vid or 90 degrees down
- Note there’s a screw thread on the plate too, meaning you can mount the plate on a tripod directly without an Arca Swiss attachment.
- The thin push-stud strap going around the wrist isn’t needed, but I find it gives a bit of reassurance
- It does not have any quick-release mechanisms, so it’s staying put! Depends on your shooting style I guess as to whether that would be a deal breaker for you. You could easily simply attach your own quick releases to either end of the straps.
Overall, I’ve found it to be utterly fabulous and for the price, a bargain.
