Wouldn’t be 100% waterproof/ resistant due to gaps where the neck strap comes out.

I had been searching for a simple lightweight case to cover my Canon 5D MkIII with a 24mm-70mm lens attached, instead of lugging a full camera bag about.
This case snuggly fits the camera completely with lens in and encloses completely.

My only gripe (as I have yet to use it out and about) is that I have an over the shoulder, holster style camera strap which fastens to the camera housing at the base, by the tripod screw hole.
The case will not not fit with this in place... therefore If I am to use this case I need to use the standard around the neck style camera strap or one which uses the eyelets at the top of the camera housing by way of attachment.

But for the price and slight inconvenience of needing to change straps, this case will serve its purpose for me when I just want to take a camera and lens on a day trip, it will keep the camera dust free, shield from light knocks, I don't think it will offer much if it fell to the floor, and I have yet to see how decent it is from the rain, but its better than it being totally open.

Would also prefer a better attachment of the case to the camera, its a thin ribbon style and doesn't see very robust. Overall however, I am happy with it and would recommend as a simple, affordable case.

I bought this JJC camera pouch for my Canon R6 ii. The purpose was to use it for protecting my camera from bumps when I use a ruck sack rather than a camera bag when I am on holiday or on casual occasions (less obtrusive). It is a good posh and will definitely protect the camera from bumps and keep of water splashes - but it is not water resistant by any stretch and doesn't claim to be.
It will hold my camera with a 24-105 zoom and the fit is good.

The issue, raised by others, is that there is a very strong smell of a petroleum based product. I worked in a refinery as a graduate engineer, and this smell took me right back. Being winter, I placed the pouch in top of a radiator in an unused bathroom and left it there for 3 days, using the ventilation extractor from time to time. That got rid of 90% of the smell and the bathroom was fine in terms of residual smell.

So a good product but the smell is a significant issue. Without the smell, I'd give it 5 stars.
