I bought this to keep my mirrorless camera safe during Holi Festival in India. I took out the drawstring and replaced it with a zip lock. I put the open end around my wrist and used another zip tie to seal the whole thing.

(I also had a UV filter on the lens to protect the glass in the lens.)

The touch screen still worked with the other hand (i.e. through this cover).

It worked extremely well, surviving deluges of powdered paint.

I took both along with me but I only needed one during the several days of shooting.

If it can survive this, I'm sure it can cope with drops of rain.

Great to have these in the camera bag. I used these in very heavy rain. Easy to fit and access all my camera's controls.
You would need to ensure they are fully dry before putting away to re-use as mould would quickly develop. Should be considered disposable, but at this price, I don't see this as a problem.

Just back from a rainy day of photography, and the cover worked fine. The draw string is not very tight, so if you have a zoom lens that moves it will probably extend out of the cover - an elastic band should do the trick.
