If your expecting a hardcore courtroom drama this is not it. The story is good but the actors were weak and not really alot of emotional depth to them. Worth a watch but nothing like as brilliant as Time on bbc. Very one dimensional characters and 12 angry men was way better than this.....it was a tv movie not some sweeping court room epic it was chocolate boxey all neatly ended with a bow on top.....shallow.....wait til price comes down as it aint worth 15.99 but a sucker for anything courtroom with drama.....

This seems like the kind of movie that doesn't have a place in theaters anymore. Mid-budget courtroom thrillers are a thing of the past. Today this would be an 8 episode season on a streamer somewhere, in the style of Presumed innocent. Is it the best legal thriller or courtroom drama you can find? No, but it's a nice reminder of what movies in this style were like 30 years ago. Well worth a watch, if only for it being Eastwood's closer
