I put mine on the kitchen window and filled it with mealworms as we have quite a few robins around. I'd only just arrived back indoors and they had already found it!It's fascinating to watch the robins and blue tits feeding and even my resident blackbird got in on the act after a few failed attempts!It's very sturdy, made of a decent weight plastic and it's very secure once in place. The plastic tray is removable for washing and filling.I would definitely recommend this window feeder to anyone and I've bought a second one to give as a Christmas gift. A great little item - my young grandson is fascinated watching the birds feeding.
