Just about value for money. The fixings that come with it are useless, bordering on dangerous. I tried using them, but they are made with such poor quality materials they just chewed up. I reverted to using proper anchor bolts into my garage wall.

I have a fairly heavy hybrid, and so far frame has held up without any deformation to the main arm holding the bike.
I have a £35 hanger for my more expensive road bike, there is no comparison.

In summary if you know how to use a power drill/masonry drill bit it will suffice as a low cost hanger.

I purchased this for frankly not alot of money as I needed somewhere to get my bike out of the way. The hook is well made and the part that I was concerned about (particularly given the cost) was the hinge, but its stood up well to my 15 year old and very heavy steel mountain bike. There's been no bending of the hinge/joint or any other part despite the weight of the bike.

It is I guess designed to be attached to a brick wall in a garage, it comes supplied with some heavy duty bolts that look designed for that purpose. I didn't want to do this however (and I don't have a garage) so I used the bolts, minus a few washers etc to fix it to a heavy duty fence. Perfect.

So if you want a good value, durable and fairly discrete cycle holder then this is the one for you.
