We got the one from the photo and she's was adorable. My daughter loved it especially the little sequin in the centre (I also love them).
The sand doesn't really hold onto the head enough for the bow to be put into the hair we managed it once and it does come undone pretty quickly.
Anyone who knows magic sand would not expect otherwise. The instructions also do mention this.
Now she plays the the sand and the doll separately so it's like two toys for one price.

When I saw this had sand in it I thought it would be my worst nightmare (as a parent), but its actually decent fun to play with without you having to use the sand - more of an optional extra. The sand does get messy, and it’s best played with on a mat, although as its more like kinetic sand its less of a pain to clean up as it could’ve been.
The doll itself has a few accessories, and is recognisable as a LOL doll. Great fun for my niece.
Also fair warning that the ball is quite heavy compared to the usual LOl surprise dolls - because of the sand, and you should definitely not hand it over to a kid that likes throwing things.

My daughter loves LOL dolls and gets so excited when new dolls come out, this is the first one she has out of the LOL. Surprise Squish Sand Magic Hair Tots series.

Only trouble I find is that you never know which one you are going to get until you open it, thank god for the LOL swap club.

This one is slightly different to the other LOL’s as it comes with sand which gets a little bit messy at times.

A lot of imagination play can be found in this series of LOL’s.

They are just like the normal LOL surprise dolls, they come in a ball, with lots of accessories.
