This is a lovely gift to give to mum for mother's day, a birthday or any time of the year. The glass bottle comes in a box which looks like a lovely presentation box and inside the bottle is very well packaged so it doesn't get damaged at all in transport. The bottle itself is completely encased in a sort of polystyrene type of packaging which is easy to slip off the bottle once you take it out of the box, but the way this is encased makes sure the bottle doesn't suffer any damage and I really like how careful the people who made this have been with the packaging. There is a small instruction leaflet in a few languages and these are easy to understand with pictures but the only instructions for this are where the switch is and how to turn the lights on and off.

The bottle itself has a good weight to it and and looks lovely when you first take it out of its packaging. The words 'Best mum ever' are on the front of the bottle and you can see the lights inside it. To turn the bottle on you'll need to use the cork of the bottle which is where the batteries are stored. There is a small plastic strip sticking out of this meaning you can just pull it out and immediately start using the lights, switching them on or off on the cork. No need to install batteries they are already inside which I think is wonderful as this means the gift can be appreciated immediately by mum. :) The bottle uses 3 AG-13 batteries, if you want to replace them.

The lights look wonderful and do provide quite a bit of light for a room when it is dark. There's something so lovely about string lights in glass bottles and jars and this one does look especially lovely with the glow from the lights and that string around the stem of the bottle giving it a more rustic charm. Unlike the listing above, you don't get the bottle, lights and string separately in the box, everything comes readily attached although you could take the string lights out if you wished to and untie the string/rope though why would you?

Overall it's a lovely gift and looks stunning when you see it. My mum was very impressed with this. The only issue is the batteries if you want to change these, make sure you can find some AG-13 or equivalent ones.

Got this so my kids could give to their Mum. The bottle itself comes well packaged and has some excellent packaging that has stopped it from getting damaged. The bottle has a frosted look background with some excellent script writing on it that looks pretty cool.

You may have seen kits where you can turn any bottle you have (maybe you have a gin bottle or a fortified wine bottle) into a nice little fairly light ornament. This has a similar feature where the stopper at the top is basically the base to the fairy lights within the bottle and contains the battery and the switch to switch it on. The neck of the bottle has a nice decorative twine effect wrapped around it and tied off.

It looks good, gives off sufficient light and was well received.

All in all at this price point it's a great gift.
