The setup instructions look a bit complicated but are easy to follow if you take it steady. I was up and running in 15 minutes. Make sure that your wifi is running 2.4 only as otherwise you might run into problems. The app that you need to download for setup is ok but once I had linked the device to Alexa it is largely redundant. I use the device to switch on lights (via an Alexa comparable plug) whilst people are in the room. If no movement is detected for x minutes the lights go out. All easy to set up in the Alexa app.

The detection range seems fine and quickly picks people up in our kitchen which is around 5 metres square even though, to keep things tidy, the unit is in one of the corner cabinets.

It’s early days but there is nothing to suggest that this handy little device will not continue to work as it should. I have taken one star off the rating as you do need to bit a bit familiar with setting up devices like this but otherwise no reason not to buy.

I purchased this to use in my car and it appears to work perfect. As I do not have a permanent power supply in my car, I use a 6v battery box with a usb output and lithium rechargeable batteries which lasts for over two days with no issues. If anybody comes near my car it notifies me on my echo and I get no false notifications unless the batteries are running out. The key thing is to have two sets of batteries and change them before they run out. It does not work with power banks as they shut down, probably because the sensors don’t use a lot of power. It is a perfect solution if you park within range of your Wi-Fi router.

It appears to be a quality item but alas it fails badly when it comes to setting any sort of timing event which it ignores. It senses motion every time as it should but it fails to acknowledge any timer settings.
I sent a Facebook enquiry to LinknLink regarding the failure and this was deleted from Facebook within some 12 hours later rather than answering it. If you want it to do its magic 24 hours a day then fine but if not, I cannot recommend it now. A software/ firmware later update may cure the problem.

I opted for this to integrate into HA, although not straight forward, as usual the HA forums are great and managed to get in linked successfully. thats the good bit. Now the bad, the response time is slow for this type of sensor(between 3-7 seconds) and also doesnt seem to detect if I am in the same room and not moving alot.
The idea of a 'presence' sensor is to detect presence, this appears to fail on that level. The sensitivity is far less than claimed and as for differentiating between gestures and body, this also fails.
That being said, if you want a sensor to act just like a PIR then this does do that.
There doesnt seem to be a way of adjusting the response time, or the sensitivity. I did mange to get the 'no person detected' time down to 10 seconds though(for testing purposes) in the app. As stated by another reviewer, you do need to TURN DEVICE LOCK OFF in settings and a bit of code to integrate into HA :

Many trials after y works with the App.
Connection to Home Assistant is quite complicated it doesn't have an integration.
Linknlink support was very good they help me to connect it to Home Assistant using MQTT directly.
Once connected to MQTT it works very well. It is incredible how fast is the detection and how wide is the range. It detects at 170 degrees and 4 m (12 feet) distance), maybe works further away I didn't test it.
After the initial difficulties I am now very glad I bought it. !!!!!
