If like me you're getting ready for stove season, then you'll know the hassle of trekking out to your wood store to fetch in logs. In the past, I've been making do with laundry or hessian shopping bags, but these look untidy! Hence when I saw this, I was keen to check it out
First impressions are good, the bag is pretty simple of course, it's a thick felt material, and true to the advert it is around 3mm thick, so feels strong and robust. On the top there are two leather loops for the wooden handles, which are also supplied. I was a bit worried if these were going to be secure, but the loops are sized correctly so as they are quite hard to push through, and once in they stay in place correctly.
Size wise it's 45x30x42 cm which means there is plenty of room to get quite a number of logs and tinder in, and lifting it with the wooden handles is a lot more comfortable than having plastic or string cutting into your hands.
Overall for £11 this is a great find, if you have a wood burner, this is an essential purchase!
