This could be my problem not the product I think I meant to order the large ones not sure how I got this size appears I put medium or did I and they never had large in stock and sent what they had, having said all this they do look good but too small for me.
This is a short but packable telescopic pole, intended for use constructing emergency shelters (tent or lean-to style) from a tarpaulin, in the absence of trees to tie up to. It is very short at less than a meter of height fully extended, but the half meter length collapsed means it can be stowed inside a backpack for emergencies, without sticking out like an aerial.
The locking mechanism is twist-to-lock, and if it gets wedged (which shows as refusing to lock) you can pull the top pole section right out and adjust the plastic workings to unwedge it.
Supplied as singles, so you will probably need to buy two.
