I prefer black treacle in a plastic bottle because it can be emptied more easily with less wastage. Marks and Spencer used to sell treacle in plastic bottles like those they use for golden syrup, but they no longer appear to do so. The Lyle's product I ordered from ��غ�� is very good and tastes just like the black treacle they sell in tins, but, even with free Prime delivery, it costs more per 50grams than it does to buy it in tins in local supermarkets. I would like to see Lyle using plastic bottles for both golden syrup and black treacle wherever it is being sold.
