I don't have any locks on the internal doors in the house but there are other people here and it's quite nice to be able to lock the door to avoid those awkward moments (you're just getting changed and hear the door handle turn). It's also a nice bit of extra security if you're away from home.

This is where portable locks like this come in handy. It has a very simple design; just slot the angled part into the door slot, close the door and then insert the stopper into the closest slot you can. There is also a bolt that you can use if there is still a gap. In use this is very effective and will stop anyone getting into the room unless they break the door, so pretty much exactly the same as a normal lock in that respect.

There is also a whistle, which works quite well and is relatively loud, and a storage bag to keep it all together.

All in all a very nice little set that I expect will be of most use when staying away from home. As it's made of stainless steel as well it should last a very long time if you look after it.

🛫 Un útil que no está mal para tener un plus de seguridad cuando se viaja.
No es que sea muy habitual que alguien entre en la habitación del hotel mientras uno está dentro pero sí que es verdad que cada vez se dan más casos… La mayoría de las veces que intentan entrar en una habitación lo hacen metiendo un cable por debajo de la puerta y accionando la manilla que está por la parte de dentro; de esa manera la puerta se abre.

🏨 Yo lo he utilizado en mi último viaje y la verdad es que en unos segundos se ajusta a la puerta y evita que se pueda abrir ya que bloquea la puerta contra el marco de la propia.

👝 En el paquete se incluyen unas pequeñas instrucciones de como colocarlo en la puerta. Además también se incluye una bolsita de transporte y un silbato de emergencia.
