Decent little mic for Sennheiser bodypacks

This is a decent, solidly-built little lapel mic. Most 3rd party mics do not have the same connector as Sennheiser, and this really matters on a bodypack - there's a lot of strain on the connection if you move around a lot. I've actually broken a bodypack this way before... so having the little screw-on bits on the connector is really important.
Otherwise it seems like a decent little mic; well made, easy to clip on. I found it hard to judge the sound quality, so won't comment on that directly, except to say it's better than plenty of cheap mics I've tried.
Personally I prefer a head-worn mic for the sound quality, but this is a great backup for me; and it's also ideal to have in the drawer for other speakers who aren't used to something head-worn.
In short, pretty good.

I took a risk on trying out this microphone as I had no idea if it would be compatible with my 'no name' bluetooth transmitter. Happy to report that it is and it's now replacing a cheap and cheerful plastic jobby.

Despite the lack of branded packing this thing does actually feel very premium. Not that it makes all that much difference but there's a satisfying weight to it. The metal cap feels really solid as well as the clasp which grips on for dear life!

Sound quality is really good. It's all in the mid range but that's what you would expect from a mic designed for dialogue - no background hiss or artifacts noticed either.

No idea how it performs with a genuine Sennheiser system but in terms of the mic functionality this is great.

This is a little lavalier microphone that worked for me right out of the gate. The cable is decently long so you have a good amount of room to connect to your device; it's not too short that it feels restrictive.

There's a little pop filter that it comes with it, which worked great at dealing with plosives. The little microphone also has a clip on it, which holds securely. In fact, it holds so tight that you need to put a bit of effort to pry the clip open!

Sound quality is surprisingly good. It can be tricky to describe sound but I'd say that it's quite "relaxed" sounding—not boomy but not thin at all, a good amount of bass, plenty of detail in your voice but perhaps a tad shy in clarity and treble. However, this can help a lot too—it's not very sibilant.

And impressively, there's absolutely no noise from the cable itself during recording, even if you're moving it around or touching it. This is a problem I've had with plenty of other microphones even costing far more, so I'm really pleased with this.

L'appelation pour Sennheiser concerne surtout la partie vissable. Car autrement, il s'agit d'un micro Lavalier classique.
Je l'ai testé sur une entrée son de carte son, il fonctionne très bien.
Même s'il est unidirectionnel, il capte malgré tout des sons non souhaités.
Testé en allumant la tv dans la pièce d'à côté, on devine l'ensemble de l'émission sur la bande son. En appliquant un filtre de réduction des bruits ambiants, ça élimine bien, mais il faudra en tenir compte, surtout en utilisation streaming.

Globalement la qualité est bonne, le son est bon, la voix est un peu plus grave que la réalité, ce qui est propre aux micros à condensateur.

Comparé aux micros de marque, le prix est assez compétitif, en gardant un niveau de qualité satisfaisant.

I found this microphone performing better than the Rode Lavalier II on my Zoom F3 Field Recorder and Rode VXLR Pro converter.
It is for specific use cases. It has a thread for Zoom F1, Rode VXLR+/Pro converter and Sennheiser Wireless.
On my Blackmagic Atem mini Pro it doesn't work. Probably needs much more power similar to the phantom power.

Absolutely surprised by the excellent sound.
The sound of Sennheiser ME 2 &4 are at completely different level, orders of magnitude better, but this is a good cheap solution.

La qualité de fabrication de ce microphone parait excellente ! Il est tout en métal (finition en noir)... y compris sa pince amovible.
La mousse fournie est difficile à mettre (!)
Son cable long (1,40m) est fin et bien souple.
Sa fiche jack 3.5mm (pointes 3 pôles TRS) est équipée d'un raccord à vis 1/8" compatible avec le système sans fil Sennheiser Bodypack... ou avec d'autres appareils équipés d'une embase à vis 1/8".

Ce micro cravate omnidirectionnel convient pour les enregistrements dans toutes les situations sans interférence de bruit; ce qui en fait un bon choix pour les jeux et le streaming...
