About this item

  • Practice silently, build muscle at any hour — the Meinl Marshmallow Pad has a specially formulated, super thick foam surface that provides rebound with ultra-low volume — this means you can drop the decibels while practicing without losing a bouncy feel
  • The ultimate apartment solution — with a clicky or rubbery stick attack completely removed from the equation, you can work on rudiments, dial-in technique or just chop out while not disturbing anyone around you at virtually any time of day
  • Medium rebound for accurate transfer to drums — the highly specialized “Marshmallow” foam surface gives you excellent stick bounce with a slight give so your muscles will be accurately trained and primed for playing on actual drums
  • Solid modern composite base is mountable on cymbal stands — equipped with an 8 mm threaded insert to mount on any cymbal stand — the base is also padded on the bottom so you can place it on any surface without scratching or causing loud vibrations
  • Pad specs — the top pad surface is made with 13/16" (20 mm) super thick "Marshmallow" foam, and the modern composite base measures 3/4" (19 mm) thick with a 3/16" (5 mm) non-slip padded soft foam lining and 8 mm threaded insert
  • Available in different sizes — the Meinl Marshmallow Pad is available in a 6" compact travel size and a 12" full size that fits in snare basket stands
