I got this to replace my existing one that I had unfortunately dropped and cracked severely. It's exactly the same as the one I used to have and it's a perfect replacement to go with my metal cake stand.
I LOVE these. They look really good and keep your cakes really fresh and free from flies and other pests. They are just the right height to get in a two or three teir cake. They are also so large that my largest cake tin still leaves plenty of room around the outside, even with butter cream on.
I can't recommend these enough. Less fragille than glass but just as effective.
Tips:
Wipe with glass cleaner after washing to keep it looking crystal clear and smear and drip free.
Wash only with a very soft sponge to avoid scratches.
Dry immediately after washing to avoid the drips drying and making it look dirty.
Careful how you store it - a drop on a hard tiled floor will break it. Although it's a tad more durable than glass, it's not indestructible.
