During pandemic prices of webcams skyrocketed, efficient put me of off replacing one I had.
Fast forward the market for sub £100 had flourished, and there are too many to choose from.
I decided to go with Microsoft as you can change it's settings through Microsoft accessories application - something available on your work pc, while other brands required their own software which is a problem. HDR is good, high constant lighting is not much of an issue, and built in shutter gives you total privacy control.
It's light and flexible enough to install wherever you like - it also has the camera mount thread.
I don't just it's microphone so can't comment - but it has one.
