    Very disappointed son and frustrated father trying to set up the Xbox.

    Would not progress beyond the update stage, eventually reset machine to factory settings and looked up how to do offline update. Having bought a usb stick, downloaded, unzipped and copied the OSU 1 file to the memory stick, put the machine on troubleshooting mode......nothing but an E101 error.

    This is probably a hard drive error and suggests that the machine wasn't tested, suspect refurb means simply dusted and reboxed!

    Now to add insult to injury we have to drive to a drop off point a wait for a refund.....no replacement on offer!
