Never thought that I'd be writing a review for a plug, however, it really is a great wee item. I'd bought a coffee maker on e-Bay (yes, I know - buyer beware and all that). Really pleased with it except the seller had forgotten to mention that it came with a European 2 pin plug! Having researched options and discarded 1) using an adapter of the kind that you would use on a holiday and 2) cutting off the plug and fitting a new one - both of which seem to either be unsafe as a long term alternative (the former) or could invalidate the appliance warranty (the second one). So, purchased this. It arrived at 19.12 this evening, was unpacked at 19.14, fitted at 19.15 and, hey presto, the appliance was fully functional at 19.20. All that was needed was a Phillips screwdriver and the ability to unscrew and then re-screw two screws! I am really, really pleased. Who would have thought that a plug could make a person so happy!
