There are lots of great travel tripods around but what attracted this one to me was the substantial size of the ball head. So much bigger than most which to me look too flimsy, especially if you are going to use a heavy telephoto setup. Adjustment of all the settings is so easy and I particularly like that it comes with a short central column which is easily swapped out for low macro shots.

Good quality carbon fiber tripod from Neewer made from good materials and I have no doubt it will last a long time.

I have to say this is the first travel tripod I have gotten that I agree and would say it is a travel tripod it is very lightweight even when you have the supplied ball head attached, with other travel tripods I have tried the ball head is normal heavier than the tripod and it ends up being heavy in my opinion but that is not the case with this tripod. Also length wise it is small and can fit easily inside my bigger camera bags if I choose to again with other tripods they have been too big and I just attach it on the outside of the bag so these are all plus points for me.

The tripod can extend to a good height and is sturdy which is exactly what you want from a tripod BUT as soon as you start to extend that centre pole it does start to get wobbly and this is when you would require a sand bag or attach your camera bag to the hook on the bottom of the center pole to help weigh it down. I’m about 5”6 and fully extended with the camera attached it is just at my eye level which is perfect for me.

The ball head is good quality and has a little bit of weight to it, feels solid and sturdy, the pan movements is very smooth which I like a lot. My only minor grumble is with quick release system for the plates at times this is a bit too fiddly for my liking and ends up not being that quick of a release system.

A great feature is the fact you get two plates for the tripod one is arca type and is compatible with V3 peak design clip I can confirm this does fit perfectly.

Another feature I like is you can replace the center pole with a very small one that is supplied, if you adjust the legs fully you can have this at almost floor height which is perfect if you need low down shots but don’t want to put the camera on the floor.

Overall I am very happy with the tripod but I do feel it is overpriced.

This tripod is incredibly impressive for its size and weight. Even fully extended, it feels stable, which was a concern with smaller travel tripods I've tried. Love the quick-release plate system and how it works with my Peak Design clips. The detachable ball head is perfect for panoramas, and the two-in-one phone holder means I can use this for impromptu smartphone shoots too! Definitely worth the investment.

When folded away the tripod is only 20 inches long. Extends five sections (though I would only recommend using up to four and never the centre column) to approximately 50 inches excluding the ball head.

The centre column has a hook to its bottom to handg your camera bag on to help stability.

Easy to open and lock catches for the feet.

The tripod can be lowered at full length neat to the ground with the sliding clips to the top of the legs, sniper style.

Made of carbon fibre this is a solid bit of kit.

The ball head has a full circular movement ie 360 degrees and pivots every which way and can be locked in position with a knob.

The bullhead has its own detachable camera release plate, which is rather small but also offers a Arco Swiss catch.

I would advise that the instructions to remove the camera release plate are easy to follow but be careful as when I did this I launched the camera release plate. The ball head has a unique feature in its circular lock which you pull out to use - never seen that before.

All in all a good tripod for the price which for a carbon fibre construction is very competitive.

I love all Neewer products, they are very trusted quality, price is reasonable if you are looking for something that you really will keep using for years ahead than this is for you, it might be a bit costy but you will never think of changing or buying another tripod. it comes with nice cover bag which make it easy for me to hang it on my bike or with my handbags while I am travelling, it is easy to use and you can quick change your cameras, it’s out 1.5 kilogram or less but is truly light carbon fiber and really innovative and can help me to take a lot of different shoots, premium quality, I really love it and will advise everyone looking for a tripod to buy this one, Over all I would give it 5 stars

For the price, this feels like it's not offering enough. I have a ~£30 tripod which doesn't feel in any way inferior to this one. Bear in mind that my main tripod usage is for a spotting scope for use with archery, rather than photography or anything like that, so my usage scenario, where it will be set up once and then remain fixed in position until putting away again, is perhaps not as extensive as it might be for many users.

It seems surprising that it uses plastic locking levers on the legs, just like my much cheaper one, when for this much wonga you'd probably expect to have good quality metal locking rings. It doesn't even have adjustable (ball & socket) feet like my cheap one does. It doesn't have a built-in carry handle, like my cheap one does. It doesn't have a built-in pan handle, like my cheap one does. The spirit level is hidden once your camera/scope/whatever is attached, whereas on my cheap one it's on the side so always visible. It doesn't feel any lighter than my cheap one.

I'm genuinely left wondering, what is this giving that one which is one-ninth of the price doesn't give? Perhaps the legs have more strength through the carbon fibre and so more resistant to damage, but apart from that?

I am a huge fan of Neewer gear. According to my ��غ�� order history, I own 48 Neewer products! I have always been completely satisfied with the quality, design, and construction of everything I have bought from Neewer. With that in mind, I was thrilled to see that Neewer is finally making a photography tripod and ordered it right away!

The NEEWER LITETRIP LT35 tripod has many great innovations and features. The legs are a hexagon shape that allows them to fit tightly against the triangular centre column when folded, making the tripod able to fold up in a much more compact manner than one with round legs. The tripod only weighs 2.5 pounds but can support 22 pounds - almost 9 times its weight. It is so light and folds up so small that it has inspired me to bring the tripod on my photography hikes, thus improving my photography.

The design of the panorama ball head is also very good. You can use the ball to level your camera, and there is a separate rotating section so you can pan the camera horizontally for panoramas while staying level. The rotating part is even labelled in degrees so you can execute very precise panorama photos. My only complaint about the ball head is that the levelling bubble is hidden under the camera plate, so you have to remove the camera to use the bubble level.

It comes with a fully-aluminum iPhone mount, which is much more solid and professional looking than the plastic ones I have seen in the past. The top of the tripod (where the legs attach) has two ¼” threaded holes to attach accessories, which is very convenient for lights, the phone holder, or time-lapse controllers.

Very highly recommended!
