Living in an old cottage we suffer from damp so wanted a dehumidifier to help us ‘dry out’ over the winter months as well as help with drying laundry.
I did lots of research, looking for a unit that was a reasonable price to buy with reasonable running costs.
I am not disappointed with my choice!
Running costs
Cheap to buy (comparatively) and running costs appear good value.
Since purchasing my monthly electricity bill is not out of whack considering that I have had this little fella running virtually constantly (either drying laundry or moving around rooms for best effect).
Functionality
I have used the dehumidifier for multiple purposes since buying; I have dried laundry to good effect and left it in various rooms around the house at different times to ‘dry’ areas out.
The amount of water this little unit sucks out is considerable!
Noise
I have tried this overnight in the bedroom and did find it a little ‘disruptive’ to sleep as the unit seems to kick in and out rather than having a continuous hum. I must say I have only tried once, and I do think that if I persevered I could get used to it.
Overall
I am pleased with my purchase .. the price point is good, not expensive to run, it works well and the noise isn’t overbearing. Would recommend.
