Currently using this for our Xbox one S so the white colour matches our console.
It would be nice if it was available in black so then it matches the Series X ect.
That being said it comes with a rechargeable battery and a battery charger cover for either Xbox one or the newer Xbox one series x/s.
The elite controller is NOT supported but this is not an issue for us.
Your controller is ready to use in around an hour and half and when your done just sit your controller in the dock to recharge ready for your next gaming session.
The quality of the charger dock seems very well made and looks nice next to our white console.
It's easy to use and for currently £22.39 I'd say that's a great price and would definitely recommend 👍👍

Inserting the battery is easy, but don't do it like I did - I initially inserted the battery with the +/- contacts on the opposite side which may have slightly damaged my controller cosmetically. If I had taken just a few minutes to actually look at it, the rear of the battery has a very thin protruding line that perfectly lines up with the gap between the contacts in the controller! it seems completely opposite to what you'd expect but that's how it's supposed to be.

The battery case itself was a bit tricky to fit on (as I'm so used to just sliding the case on), but still took less than a few seconds to get it on.

It has plenty of juice in the battery out of the box so it's ready to use immediately, but I'd advise to allow it to fully charge.

The dock looks pretty nice, although a fully black colour would fit in with the console better - not really an issue for me. It is glossy rather than matte if that matters.

The controller sits nice and flush in the dock and will adjust itself to fit in, like airpods in their case, so even a clumsy child can put the controller into the dock without worrying if it was put in there correctly to allow charging via the contacts on the back.

Battery life seems excellent so far.. so fingers crossed this lasts me longer than a month, unlike others I had tried many years ago on my Xbox 360!

Its says the back casing for the controller is compatible with the xbox one controllers and its clearly not! The backs will not attach to the back of the controller, they are not even the same design so they would never fit and should not be advertised that way, I'll be getting my money back!

Having a gaming controller ready to go and fully charged up for any gaming session is a must in modern gaming, this charging dock and rechargeable battery pack is perfect for the Xbox Series X/S consoles or even the legacy Xbox On controller as it comes with two battery plates for either controller version. Though the design is very PS5, I was very impressed with the battery life of the rechargeable battery and the ease of use of the charging dock. With the new battery pack installed and back plate fitted on, all you have to do is place the controller in the dock and it will immediately charge which makes the controller ready to go when it is needed.

I am already considering picking up a 2nd for my spare controller so when friends come round my Player 2 controller will always be ready. Well made, does the job has a very reasonable price. Very impressed with it

Je voulais depuis longtemps acheter une batterie rechargeable pour ma manette mais je ne savais pas quelle marque etc choisir ou alors acheter des piles rechargeable. J'ai tésté ce modèle et franchement pour le moment vraiment aucun problèmes, elle tient bien et je peut la mettre à recharger une fois que j'ai fini de jouer. Je ne sais pas par contre combien de temps de jeux la batterie tient sans être rechargée. Elle est un peu dure à mettre en place, par contre il y a deux plaques pour s'adapter aux différentes manettes Xbox (peut-être pas tous les modèles), et effectivement ça marche sur la série X/S

Ich spiele eigentlich eher unregelmäßig mit Gamepad und wenn dann immer kleinere Sessions z.B. Elden Ring. Bisher habe ich lediglich auf reguläre AA-Akkus zurückgegriffen und die laufen zwar gut, aber man kann sie nun mal eben nicht im Controller aufladen. Vorab wechseln bin ich kein Fan von (bzw. ich kann den Ladestand schwer einschätzen und bin auch eigentlich viel zu Faul zum ausprobieren) und meistens läuft es ja doch glatt. Meistens.

Also habe ich mich entschieden, doch einmal ein Akkupack auszuprobieren: Bereut habe ich es nicht.

Die Ladestation ist überraschend groß (oder wirkte für mich auf den Bildern nicht so). Sie kommt im schön aufgeräumten Karton daher, bringt ihren eigenes Akkupack und zudem zwei Batteriefachdeckel (einmal für Gamepads der Xbox One und einmal für die der Xbox Series X|S) mit. Das hatte ich ursprünglich nicht erwartet, aber es macht Sinn, da das Dock keinen der originalen Kontakte am Controller nutzt, sondern seine eigenen Kontakte hinten in den Abdeckungen mitbringt.

Die "Installation" ist kinderleicht, auch wenn das hineindrücken des Akkupacks schon etwas schwieriger ging als erwartet. Akkupack rein, Deckel drauf, Kabel eingesteckt, fertig.

An dieser Stelle soll erwähnt werden, dass das erste Artikelbild leicht irreführend ist bzw. nicht das tatsächliche Erscheinungsbild des Produkts wiedergibt. Zwar ist das Herstellerlogo blau leuchtend hinterlegt (und fungiert gleichzeitig als Ladeanzeige), die Vertiefungen für den Controller selbst sind aber nicht beleuchtet (was dem Ganzen keinen Abbruch tut).

Insgesamt funktioniert das Produkt einwandfrei. Hat man den Kontroller hineingelegt, rutscht dieser automatisch bedingt durch die Form der "Ladeschale" und die eingebetteten Magnete perfekt in Position. Die Ladekontakte erhalten eine Verbindung und die blinkende LED zeigt den Ladevorgang an. Ist das Gamepad wieder vollständig geladen (oder entfernt man es), leuchtet die LED durchgehend blau (einerseits verständlich, ich hätte mir aber eher gewünscht, dass sie dann ausgeht).

Im normalen Betrieb ist die Ladestation nicht zu hören und einzig das blaue Licht weist darauf hin, dass sie eingeschaltet bzw. angesteckt ist (es gibt keine Tasten zum ein-/ausschalten oder für sonstige Funktionen). Wenn ich die Station allerdings an einen reinen Power-Delivery/Ladeport (ohne funktionierende Datenleitungen) meines PCs anschließe, ist ein hochfrequentes Spulenpfeifen zu vernehmen. Ich vermute hierbei allerdings eher ein Problem mit meinem USB-Port, nicht mit der Ladestation an sich. An anderen Ports ist sie absolut still.

Update 1: Die 5��Sterne nehme ich vorerst zurück. Pünktlich zur Freigabe meiner Rezension und nach ca. 2 Wochen Nutzung scheint die Ladestation die Arbeit mehr oder minder eingestellt zu haben. Entweder sie leuchtet dauerhaft (und das Gamepad wird nicht geladen) oder sie blinkt dauerhaft auch ohne Gamepad (und es wird ebenfalls nicht geladen) oder die "Light Show" fällt undefinierbar zuckend/blinkend aus. Der Kundendienst hat allerdings relativ schnell reagiert und Ersatz versprochen. Mal sehen, wie sich der dann schlagen wird��…

Update 2: Das Ersatzgerät kam nach ca. 2 Tagen an und verrichtet wieder tadellos seine Arbeit. Ich werde die Rezension erneut aktualisieren, sollte sich nochmal ein Problem ergeben.

Zwar ist das Herstellerlogo blau leuchtend hinterlegt (und fungiert gleichzeitig als Ladeanzeige), die Vertiefungen für den Controller selbst sind aber nicht beleuchtet (was dem Ganzen keinen Abbruch tut).

Insgesamt funktioniert das Produkt einwandfrei. Hat man den Kontroller hineingelegt, rutscht dieser automatisch bedingt durch die Form der "Ladeschale" und die eingebetteten Magnete perfekt in Position. Die Ladekontakte erhalten eine Verbindung und die blinkende LED zeigt den Ladevorgang an. Ist das Gamepad wieder vollständig geladen (oder entfernt man es), leuchtet die LED durchgehend blau (einerseits verständlich, ich hätte mir aber eher gewünscht, dass sie dann ausgeht).

Im normalen Betrieb ist die Ladestation nicht zu hören und einzig das blaue Licht weist darauf hin, dass sie eingeschaltet bzw. angesteckt ist (es gibt keine Tasten zum ein-/ausschalten oder für sonstige Funktionen). Wenn ich die Station allerdings an einen reinen Power-Delivery/Ladeport (ohne funktionierende Datenleitungen) meines PCs anschließe, ist ein hochfrequentes Spulenpfeifen zu vernehmen. Ich vermute hierbei allerdings eher ein Problem mit meinem USB-Port, nicht mit der Ladestation an sich. An anderen Ports ist sie absolut still.

Update 1: Die 5��Sterne nehme ich vorerst zurück. Pünktlich zur Freigabe meiner Rezension und nach ca. 2 Wochen Nutzung scheint die Ladestation die Arbeit mehr oder minder eingestellt zu haben. Entweder sie leuchtet dauerhaft (und das Gamepad wird nicht geladen) oder sie blinkt dauerhaft auch ohne Gamepad (und es wird ebenfalls nicht geladen) oder die "Light Show" fällt undefinierbar zuckend/blinkend aus. Der Kundendienst hat allerdings relativ schnell reagiert und Ersatz versprochen. Mal sehen, wie sich der dann schlagen wird��…

Update 2: Das Ersatzgerät kam nach ca. 2 Tagen an und verrichtet wieder tadellos seine Arbeit. Ich werde die Rezension erneut aktualisieren, sollte sich nochmal ein Problem ergeben.
